Bryan's First Prom! Awwww! So Cute!!

I was so happy that Bryan and his date wanted to do a little photoshoot the night of their Prom!  This girl is the cutest and made this so fun!  Bryan is pretty photogenic himself, so the combo of those two was hilarious.  They had all kinds of ideas for fun poses and could really ham it up.  They just had a great time together.

Bryan looked so GOOD in his tux!  His date was absolutely GORGEOUS too!  The best part is that she is as beautiful on the inside as she is outside - such a sweetheart!  They had an awesome night!

My friend, Sarah, came along and stepped in to help pin that boutonniere on (not an easy task).

KYLE is NINE!!

On Kyle's birthday, I surprised him and his class at school with ice cream sandwiches to celebrate!  Can you tell he's excited?

That night we let him invite a couple of friends over to celebrate with us at our family party.  I asked Kyle the day before what he wanted on his cake.  His answer?  Oreos, gummy bears, and sprinkles of course!

I bought the candles that keep relighting themselves.  It was SO FUNNY!  You can see Kyle's expression change in the following pictures...he couldn't believe the flames kept coming back!

My sister, Brittany, was in town and had gotten Kyle some pool toys.  He was so excited!  Those are ALWAYS in demand around here.

Kyle's final gift from us was a Flicker "Y" Scooter!  He was over the moon!  That thing is fun!  Even I HAD to try it out!

Mark is OVER THE HILL!

This was the big 4-0 for Mark!  Of COURSE I had to throw him a surprise party! I invited all of his closest friends over.  When he walked in, the look on his face was priceless!

I made him all of his favorites: Better Than ....(anything) Cake, Pecan Pie, and German Chocolate Cake!

Mark was not so excited about all of those candles. Maybe it was the constant teasing that because of how old he was, those candles were going to burn the house down!

There were some pretty funny gifts mixed in with the regular ones - lots of indigestion medicine, Metamucil, and other "old people" stuff.  My favorite was a 7-day-pill container, full of colored pills (tic tacs).  So creative!  We all had a lot of laughs at Mark's expense!  He was actually very touched that so many people came to celebrate with him.
